Font Software End User Licence Agreement
Purchasing, downloading, installing, accessing or using the Font Software constitutes agreement to this EULA.
1. Font Software
Font Software means the font files supplied with the applicable purchase, together with updates or replacement files supplied under that licence. Font Software is licensed, not sold. Intellectual-property rights remain with Andrew Paglinawan and/or applicable rights holders.
2. Licence Scope
Desktop: Up to 3 users within the Licensee’s organisation may use the fonts for commercial and non-commercial static artwork, including branding, logos, print, packaging, presentations, advertising, social-media graphics, signage and merchandise artwork. Font files may not be supplied to clients unless they are appropriately licensed. Contractors and collaborators requiring font access must fit within the permitted user count or hold their own licence. Web: The Licensee may self-host the supplied webfont files on one primary domain it owns or controls, including normal subdomains, with unlimited pageviews. Webfonts must not intentionally be made available for standalone public download or use outside the licensed website. Desktop + Web: Both Desktop and Web rights apply.
3. Individual Styles and Complete Families
An Individual Style licence covers only the purchased style. A Complete Family licence covers all styles included in the family at purchase, unless otherwise stated.
4. Permitted Output
Finished commercial and non-commercial artwork may be created, reproduced, published and distributed within the licence scope. Text may be outlined or made static. Protected embedding is permitted where the Font Software cannot reasonably be extracted or reused and the use otherwise fits the licence.
5. Backup Copies
Reasonable archival and disaster-recovery copies are permitted and remain subject to this EULA.
6. Modifications
Typography may be modified, outlined or manipulated as finished artwork. Without written permission, the Licensee may not modify, reverse-engineer, rename, convert, adapt, decompile or create derivative Font Software. Copyright, trademark, authorship and proprietary information must not be removed or falsified.
7. Redistribution
The Licensee may not sell, sublicense, share, place in public repositories, distribute with source files or supply Font Software to unlicensed third parties. Finished static artwork may be distributed normally.
8. Uses Requiring Additional Licensing
Unless expressly licensed separately, applications and software, games, eBooks/ePub, broadcast/film/television, server-side font generation, cloud/SaaS, OEM/hardware, editable templates distributed to third parties, products allowing end users to create or edit text using Font Software, and enterprise deployments exceeding user or domain limits require additional licensing. Enquiries: hello@andrew.paglinawan.com.
9. Artificial Intelligence and Font Generation
Font Software, files, glyph outlines, character designs and related font data may not be used to train, fine-tune, develop, evaluate or materially improve AI or machine-learning systems whose purpose includes generating, reconstructing, imitating or producing fonts, typefaces, glyphs or font software without prior written permission. Ordinary use in software containing general-purpose AI-assisted features is permitted when the Font Software itself is not used as training or development data for font or glyph generation.
10. Updates
The licence is perpetual for the purchased version. Corrected or improved updates may be supplied at Andrew Paglinawan’s discretion. Updates do not reduce previously granted rights. Major new releases or substantially expanded products may require a separate purchase.
11. Transfers
The Licensee may not transfer, assign, sell or sublicense the licence without prior written permission, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
12. Refunds and Technical Issues
Digitally delivered purchases are generally final once access is provided, without limiting applicable statutory rights. A duplicate purchase, incorrect licence, defective or incomplete file, inability to access files, or genuine technical or fulfilment problem may be resolved through assistance, replacement, licence adjustment, purchase credit or refund as appropriate.
13. Termination
A material breach may terminate the licence, subject to an opportunity to remedy where reasonably possible. After termination, the Licensee must cease use and delete Font Software except for legally required retention. Lawfully created finished artwork made before termination remains unaffected.
14. Warranty and Liability
Andrew Paglinawan supplies Font Software with reasonable care, but does not promise compatibility with every device, application, operating system or future environment. Nothing limits non-excludable statutory rights. Liability is limited only to the extent legally permitted.
15. Governing Law
This EULA is governed by the laws applicable in the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai, without limiting mandatory consumer rights.
16. Entire Agreement
This EULA, the licence identified at purchase and any expressly incorporated written licensing terms govern use of the Font Software.
