Privacy Policy
How this site handles enquiries, purchases, downloads and browser preferences.
1. Who We Are
This website is operated by Andrew Paglinawan in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This policy explains how information is handled when you browse the site, send an enquiry, download a free typeface or purchase a font licence.
2. Information You Provide
The contact form asks for your name, email address and message. You may also provide information when contacting Andrew directly. At checkout, Stripe collects the details needed to process your payment; purchase details returned by Stripe may include your name, email address, products, licence selection, amount, currency and payment status.
3. Payments and Orders
Payments are processed by Stripe through Stripe Checkout. Andrew does not directly store complete payment card details. After Stripe confirms a purchase, the site records Stripe transaction identifiers, customer name and email where provided, the purchased item and licence, price, currency and order status in a Cloudflare D1 database. These records support fulfilment, licence support and transaction administration.
4. Enquiries
Contact form submissions are sent through Resend to Andrew’s email inbox. The submitted name, email address and message are included in that email so Andrew can read and respond to your enquiry.
5. Free Downloads
When you download an available free typeface, the site creates or reuses a random visitor token in an HTTP-only cookie. It stores a SHA-256 hash of that token, the typeface identifier and the download time in D1. This lets the site avoid counting another download of the same typeface by the same browser within 30 minutes and display download totals when enabled. The tracking record does not store your raw IP address.
6. Cookies and Browser Storage
The free-download visitor cookie lasts up to 30 days and is scoped to the typeface API. When you start a paid checkout, a separate HTTP-only cookie lasts up to 30 days and is scoped to the commerce API; its random credential is used to check access to your purchased download, while only its hash is stored with the order. The site stores your light or dark theme choice in local browser storage. The private Studio administration area uses a separate session cookie for authorised administrators. Stripe may use its own technologies on Stripe Checkout, subject to Stripe’s policies.
7. Why We Use Information
Information is used to respond to enquiries, process and fulfil purchases, verify access to paid files, count free downloads, remember display preferences, maintain the site and address support, security or legal needs. The site does not currently include a separate third-party analytics service in its application code.
8. Providers and Processing
Cloudflare provides website hosting, D1 database services and R2 storage for site media and downloadable files. Resend delivers contact enquiries by email. Stripe processes payments and provides checkout and transaction information. These providers may process information in locations outside your country; their own terms and privacy notices describe their handling of information.
9. Retention and Security
Information is kept for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including support, transaction records and applicable legal obligations. No fixed deletion date is currently set for order or free-download records. Access controls, scoped HTTP-only cookies and restricted download endpoints are used to protect relevant data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Choices and Rights
You can change your theme preference in the site interface and clear site cookies or local storage in your browser. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or other controls over your personal information, subject to applicable exceptions. Contact Andrew to make a request or ask about how your information is handled.
11. Children
The site is intended for a general professional audience and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact Andrew.
12. Changes and Contact
This policy may be updated as the site and its services change. The current version and effective date will be shown here.
